Christmas and Teo's blessing

Is this not the craziest thing you have ever seen? We went to the grocery store one night and saw this donut on sale for 25 cents, we couldn't help ourself from buying it... just for this picture. No, Saiji did not eat the whole thing, nor did we. But this donut is unreal, huh?
Saiji on Christmas morning with his new jammies and his presents. Let's just say next year we are only going to get him one gift. Once he saw this toy he wanted it opened and he played with it for an hour. We didn't open the rest of his gifts until about 7PM. I'll have you know it was the most annoying toy though and it has already been packed up and waiting to be taken to DI (no worries, we got it free from someone who was donating it to the Salvation Army. No wonder why he didn't want it). It will be a great toy for someone in the age range of 5-7.

Saiji has been a big helper in the kitchen lately. Here he is squeezing orange juice, which we then had for breakfast.
We got him this sweet light box that keeps him entertained for about an hour. We practice counting and sensory activities.
Sunday Anthony did an amazing job on Teo's blessing. We were so grateful to everyone who came and supported us. I wish I would've taken a picture of everyone holding Teo, but here are my parents and Teo. My mom made his blessing outfit, which Saiji also wore.

I can't believe Saiji is 2!!! Wow time flies. Saiji is such an amazing little boy and we are so happy he is part of our family. He is the sweetest boy, he is very polite and always says thank you with out being asked, bless you and please. He is very happy and full of light all the time. He is so sweet to his little Teo. He thinks Teo is the funniest baby, he laughs at any noise Teo makes. Saiji loves anything with wheels, he can play for hours with his cars or trains. He also love to color for hours and play with our "school" stuff. He loves learning and is such a joy to have in our family!

I also can't believe that baby Teo is already 2 months old. yikes he is growing up so fast too.

Saturday we took Saiji out skiing again. Just like the other times he LOVED it. I have a feeling he is going to be like his Dad and love the snow. He was a trooper, it was so cold...a whopping 13 degrees out. Teo was also a sport, he lets us take him anywhere and never complains.

Halloween and our 1 month old baby

We had a fantastic Halloween this year. We started the festivities at the zoo, then our ward trunk or treat and finally trick-or-treating at my parents. This year we dressed up to a circus theme, I was the lion tamer, Teo was the lion, Anthony was cotton candy and Saiji was the strong man.

Here is Saiji munching on the cookies we made and frosted together.

I can't believe our baby boy is 1 month already...boy time flies. We are enjoying Teo so much. It's so fun to see how much Saiji just loves his baby brother.

Super Hero and skateboarding

I made this fun super hero cape for Saiji and he won't take it off now. As soon as he put it on he was running every where, jumping off things and picking up heavy boxes.
He also loves to go on walks with his baby and stroller....hoping to some what prep him for the new little one.

He loves to watch the "choo choo" (trax) go past our house and this was us waiting for the "choo choo" to come so he could show his "baby".

Caring for his " baby". He loves to kiss and hug his baby and he LOVES to show his baby things...like the train, cows, planes and really anything he thinks is cool.

Looking in the mailbox to see if there is anything or anyone who is in need of some super hero help.

The other thing Saiji has to do just about everyday is put on his "hat" and go on his "board". He loves to ride his skateboard and especially go on rides with his Daddy.

And sometimes just run with his helmet on!

Saiji was/is such a lucky boy. Every morning Grandpa would cut p all this fresh fruit just for Saiji. Saiji loved it and would look forward to it every morning. It was a hard adjustment for him when we got home.

Here are a couple pictures from our amazing trip to Hawaii. It was so much fun to spend time with family and friends! Saiji enjoyed following Grandpa around and he especially loved the fresh fruit every morning that Grandpa cut for him. Every morning when he would wake up he would say "Pa" and run out and say hi to grandpa, it was so fun having the two Saiji's spend so much time together.
We also have a crazy beach bum on our hands. Saiji loved the water and sand so much!

The two Saiji's! This is before we left as well and unfortunately we didn't get a very good picture of Saiji with Grandpa, Saiji had an extremely high fever the day we left. And lucky me, but poor Saiji, he threw up four times at the airport. Once all over both of us and the other three, close to the rubbish can. Thankfully he didn't throw up anymore after that though. So the plane ride was good.

Fun times with little man

We've been having so much fun with our little Saiji boy. This kid loves to eat and play outside.

Saiji was helping me make some peanut butter and honey toast and when he pulled the toast off the counter it landed flat on his face!
He is obsessed with the Disney Cars and found this advertisement in the mail about 2 months ago, he is so attached to it and loves reading it while he eat breakfast in the mornings. What a little man, right?

We spent President's day weekend in Bryce canyon. We had a lot of fun hiking and cross country skiing. Saiji especially loved eating and playing in the snow! He is definitely mine and Anthony's son...he LOVES the snow and he LOVES the water and ocean (if you can remember all of our other post at the many beaches we've been too). Thank heavens he likes them both! I hope you enjoy the many pictures.

Saiji turned one two months ago but I thought I'd post some pictures. We went to NY and had a fabulous time. Saiji was able to see all of his cousins (and meeting his new cousin Kenna), Aunties and Uncles.

Saiji started smiling a couple days ago. My mom got a couple of shots of him smiling on her camera but now I finally captured the smile too. I was so glad that she was able to see Saiji's smile before she left to Myanmar. Oh and the amazingly wonderful quilt that Saiji is on is a quilt that my Auntie Audrey made for him. This was the best surprise for me, all the material is from my Grandmas...it's from the 60's and 70's. I wanted to have a post on it's own of Auntie Audrey's wonderful quilting talent...which I will because there is another one that I need to share. Thanks again Auntie Audrey for the quilts we love them!!!

Our little Saiji (Sigh-gee) Elliott came into this world at 1 am on the 10th of Dec. He is named after my amazing Grandpa as well as my brother, and his middle name is after his Grandpa Clark. I was induced in the afternoon and at 1 am he came, everything went very well. He weighed 8 oz even and was 20 1/2 in long. All of us are doing very well. I just thought I would put up some pictures for you to enjoy.

On the 22nd of Nov it was my mom's b-day and we all got together. Chip,Becky, Anthony and I made Vietnamese Pho' for dinner and I also made mini pumpkin pies for dessert.

My cousin went into the Missionary Training Center on June 24th and we were lucky enough to hang out with him, his sister, my Auntie and Uncle. It was such a good time spent with them. My cousin Dara came out from NYC and the rest of the fam came in from Hawaii. My cousin will be serving in Mesa, AZ. We were also able to celebrate my cousin Johns B-day along with fathers day together as a family.

So here are some of the presents that I made for Christmas to give to the kids and Anthony. Anthony's is a blanket.....well the front part of the blanket..it still needs to have a back sewn on it...that is made of all our old t-shirts. And each of the kids picked out with creature they wanted and I made it for them. It was a great Christmas.....sorry the post is late. I just wanted to share some of the project I have been working on. Tatjana's is a little dog, Seppo's is a rabbit with three carrots on it's belly per his request, and Terai is a little bug...sorry the picture is so out of focused.

We had so much fun sledding with Tatjana, Seppo, Terai, Chip and Becky. There was a berm on the hill that the kids were getting crazy with. The first picture of Tatjana and Terai is sweet huh?.....they even made it past the berm staying on the sled.The next picture if you look closely at the bottom of Chip and Seppo is a brown thing....that is Terai. When they came down they ran into Terai and smooshed him. Oh no worries though.....after they got off him he was just laughing...the kid is fearless. We had so much fun with them in town....to bad they all had to go home.

Hooray I finally sold my hair!!!!! So here are a few pictures of my hair-do's the past year since I cut my hair. I'm sure I've posted some of these already. I was so excited about selling it, you can see the braid that I mailed off to the Netherlands below. And now I will be growing my hair out again for the "Hair Farm" Anthony and I are going to start up. Cause I'm sure our kids will be hair little critters too.
Who know my long hair would ever bring me cash!!!!

So here are some very random pictures but I was getting really sick of looking at the last post. I'm sure you all were too and these pictures I'm sure are going to be better.... especially the little rat dog....ha ha ha. Okay so my adorable little chubby baby is for sure a picture you all will love. Isn't he the cutest thing ever?

Thanks to my wonderful sis-in-law Becky (who snuck into my account and posted the lovely post below, but I do feel that way about them so it was perfect!!!) I've gotten into making these silly creatures. Lately any free time I have I've been sewing (other post on those later) or making some sort of creature. So today I hung out with two of my FAVORITE people, my kid-brother Chip and his lovely wife Becky. I love them SO much! Today they fed me fresh pineapple. Yum! I love when I get to go hang out with Chip and Becky. I just think they are So cool!

Well it's actually been more then two years now because I am such a slacker and didn't post any thing on our anniversary (Aug 11th). Here are some pictures of us on our wedding day...obviously, and then the others are from our trip to Hawaii to visit my amazing Grandpa to celebrate our 1 yr ann. and the others are from this year. I'm glad Anthony and I finally made the right decision to get married it's been the best thing ever!!!! (we'll be coming up on our six years of knowing/dating each other... man we took a long time)

Torrey Utah!!!

Anthony and I went down to Torrey and Fish Lake to celebrate our anniversary. We had a grand ole time. We stayed in this nice little cabin in Torrey and then went over to fish lake and hung out there for a while. It was a nice little weekend getaway that Anthony surprised me with!!!! Bronx Zoo

So in NY we went to the Bronx zoo which was really fun. They had a really cool carousel which instead of animal to ride on you rode on insects. And then after the kids turned in to little bugs....ewwww
